Terms of use
Effective 18 July 2026. These terms govern your use of propertyfilter.co.za (“the platform”).
1. What PropertyFilter is
PropertyFilter is a listing platform. Property listings are created and supplied by registered property practitioners and sellers (“agents”), not by PropertyFilter. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or availability of any listing, price, or attribute shown, including attributes suggested by automated image analysis, which agents confirm before publication. Verify all material information independently before transacting.
2. Agent obligations
Agents are solely responsible for the lawfulness and accuracy of their listings, including compliance with the Property Practitioners Act 2019 — holding a valid Fidelity Fund Certificate, and completing the required mandatory disclosure form for each sale or lease. Publishing on PropertyFilter requires an FFC number on file; “verification pending” indicates the number has not yet been independently confirmed by us. Agents warrant that they hold the rights to all photographs and content they upload.
3. Acceptable use
No scraping, bulk harvesting, or automated republication of platform content. No false, misleading or discriminatory listings. No attempts to circumvent platform security or access another user's account or data. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these terms.
4. Demonstration data
Listings marked “demo” are synthetic and exist to demonstrate the platform's search and filtering. They are not real properties and cannot be transacted. See the demo data notice for details.
5. Liability
The platform is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PropertyFilter is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on listing content, platform unavailability, or dealings between buyers and agents. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 2008 that cannot lawfully be limited.
